Many companies have jumped in on the viral video trend in order to spread their name, and hopefully gain customers. One thing that we haven’t really seen much of is musical artists making videos specifically with the hopes of them becoming viral. Obviously this isn’t much a deviation from what’s normal, as the goal has always been to make videos that people will enjoy. If the right combination of quality videos and viral characteristics are put together, it can be very successful. Alternative Rock band OK Go, seem to have this down quite well.
